WHINING IS NOT WINNING

Every where you turn republicans are whining about how unfair the press treats Romney/Ryan. Are we really surprised? In a perfect world the media would be fair and balanced and President Obama would have to answer for the sour economy; the debt that has surpassed $16,000,000,000,000; the terrorist attacks on September 11th that ended the lives of Ambassador Stevens and 3 others; the level of poverty reaching historic levels and the unprecedented amount of Americans depending on the government to survive. It is up to every conservative to take these and other talking points to the people. It is up to us to to make the phone calls, do the block walks, write letters to the editor, contribute to the campaigns and make this a win in November. It is not just up to Romney/Ryan it is also up to us.

This is an election we can’t afford to lose!

47 Percent

Mitt Romney was recorded at a May 17th  fundraiser in Boca Raton, Florida saying that 47 percent of the voters will vote for Barack Obama no matter what because “they are reliant on government, don’t pay taxes and believe they are victims, who believe that government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you name it.”

Is that accurate? They will vote for him no matter what? No matter if our true unemployment rate is over 11 percent; no matter is our debt is over $16,000,000,000,000.; no matter if Iran is closer to a nuclear weapon than ever before;  no matter if our schools are graduating children who can’t read; no matter the historic poverty rate or the lack of s sense of overall well being for Americans. If that is true and the unthinkable thought that Barack Obama wins re-election comes true on November 6, 2012, than the headlines on November 7th should read “America has died”.

But I still believe that there is an American spirit even within that 47 percent that just needs to be awaken and reminded of why we are so great and to lead us back there.

The Press

Did you know that Mitt Romney has finally taken the lead from Barack Obama? Per today’s Rasmussen poll Mitt Romney is attracting support from 47% of voters nationwide, while President Barack Obama earns 46% of the vote. Three percent (3%) prefer some other candidate, and five percent (5%) are undecided.

Why is this not making news?

The bounce that Barack Obama received from the DNC convention has eroded and yet the media covered the rise in Obama’s polling almost hourly for over a week.

The fumbling of the Netanyahu visit, the Iran crisis, and the sagging economy are not well covered by the so called “Press”. They do a disservice to their reputation as many don’t trust the media anymore but mostly they do a disservice to the American people. Due to this overt bias, it is imperative that conservatives stay engaged with the political process and seek the truth — and ignore the spin.
